Brandi passante became an overnight sensation after her role in A&E's Reality Show 'StorageWars.' It also featured Jarrod Schulz, Passante's boyfriend who dated her for a long time and is now her husband. On the show, the items stored in storage lockers which rent has not been paid for three months are put up for auction. Brandi and Jarrod, who are the owners of and operate the "Now and Then thrift store located in Orange, California, participated on the show with the desire to purchase storage units at a bargain price. They had no idea that it would make them celebrities in the real world! The show's success was because the couple, who were very tactful with their biddings throughout the episode and became celebrities. Their success on reality television helped their business which allowed them to grow. Following their appearance on the show 'Storage wars', the spin-off show "Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Work" was created just for their show.
